After about 8 years, also known as Directive 2006/95/EC LVD low voltage, undergoes a change. The European community has in fact published on February 26, 2014 the new directive named 2014/35/UE. This directive must be transposed by the various states by the due date of April 19, 2016. They were introduced additional requirements with respect to the previous directive, for example: – Clarification as to the conformity assessment and intervention of a notified body – Retailers should check their stocks to avoid selling products which no longer comply – Distinction and different obligations for different economic operators as an importer, manufacturer, representative, etc.. – Ensuring the quality of production – Carry out sample testing of products, handle complaints, and maintain a register of non-conforming products – Best product identification (lot, etc.). – Indication of the postal product – Clarification on the possibility of providing technical dossier in both paper and electronic formats – Introduction dell’anaisi risk – Identification of the manufacturing batch in the declaration of conformity
